FUN RUN/WALK
As a part of Marco's Wellness program, a group of employees participated in the 8th Annual San Jacinto Texas Independence Fun Run/Walk. This event was March 2nd, 2019 and benefits the San Jacinto Museum of History.
Events included a 5K family walk and run, a 10K run, and a 1K run for kids aged 4-12. All 1K Kids’ Run participants received a medal. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals were awarded for running events, for both males and females.
Held every year in March, participants traverse the historic battleground where Texas won its independence from Mexico, pass by the imposing Battleship Texas, and experience the natural wonder of the park at a time that few -– save the wildlife — have. After th…
