Our Marco Fiberglass division offers products manufactured via two popular processes: open molding that provides equal strength in horizontal and vertical directions, and pultrusion, which produces grating consisting of cross and bearing bars formed into a grid pattern.

Our Fully In-House Custom FRP Fabrication Shop

As a Marco Fiberglass customer, you never have to worry about any aspect of your custom fiberglass grating project being outsourced to a third-party vendor. We have our own state-of-the-art, in-house fabrication shop located within our Houston facility. Our shop includes all the latest saws, shears, press brakes and related equipment, and our team has the expertise required to complete your project quickly and efficiently.

Fiberglass grating cutting and installation is a difficult, messy process. Marco Fiberglass has the skill and tools to perform precision cutting of the material. We will then use a resin fiber grinding disc to smooth out the cut edges. The next step is the application of a resin material to form a protective seal that prevents the corrosion of the glass fibers. Finally, we will install the FRP product, using specially designed stainless steel clips to support the panel bearing edges.

Keeping everything in-house allows us to closely monitor and control the production process from start to finish so we can deliver custom FRP grating services of the highest level of quality.
